Jeremy is a backend developer with a Master's Degree in Archives and Public History from North Carolina State University. Before coming to Caktus, he spent five years working with the State Archives of North Carolina. In his last role there, he worked as a Systems Integration Librarian, supporting technological initiatives and digital preservation. He also worked extensively with Python.
He’s excited to be at Caktus because of our emphasis on professional development, work quality, and well tested code. He looks forward to learning more about coding with Django on an enterprise level. Jeremy loves the elegance of Python and is eager to learn how to solve real-world solutions in an enterprise web space with a Python framework.
Outside of work, Jeremy loves to cook sweet things, listen to podcasts, and play with dangerous machines like saws and drills. He’s also trying to convince his child that John C. Reilly is the best actor working today, while also learning how to live with a feisty feline.
