Tobias McNulty

Tobias co-founded Caktus in 2007 and, as Chief Executive Officer, guides the strategic vision of the company. He has been an active member of the Django development community, is a core developer of the RapidSMS framework, and makes regular contributions to both the projects. He is the co-author of and chief advocate for the messages framework that was introduced in Django 1.2 and has helped  Colin organize several successful Django development sprints in the North Carolina Research Triangle area.

Colin Copeland

Colin co-founded Caktus in 2007. As Chief Technical Officer, he helps ensure that Caktus remains at the forefront of the open source community. He regularly implements services and products to better serve clients. He loves coding and still actively works on client projects, often as lead developer.

Ronard Luna

Ronard is a native of La Pichinga, a small town in the Dominican Republic. He grew up in the Dominican Republic and moved to Utah to attend university. He joined Caktus as an Apprentice in July of 2021.

Karen Tracey

Karen has been working with Django since late 2006, when she set out to put a web front-end on her crossword puzzle database. She was impressed by the framework and its community and began answering questions on the django-users mailing list and helping out with ticket triage and bug fixes. She became a Django core committer in September 2008 and continues to enjoy helping users, participating in local sprints, and contributing to Django’s development. She is the author of Django 1.1 Testing and Debugging, published by Packt Publishing in April, 2010.

Gerald Carlton

Gerald majored in Computer Science at A&T; State University. While there, he gained an appreciation for developing quality software beyond simply writing and shipping code. He loves the nuances of testing software, seeing QA analysts as explorers of digital territory in the name of high functionality. His collaborative and exploratory approach ensures the usability and quality of our tools across browsers, devices, and environments.
