scrAPI
While there’s a lot of raw data out there on the Internet, some of it can be hard to visualize. We wanted to change that. scrAPI is a web application for retrieving (“scraping”) data from web sites across the net and displaying it in an easily accessible form. The web interface takes the data and displays it on an easy to use and interactive Google Map. This project was developed as part of a software engineering class in the spring of 2006 (and happens to be what originally united us as a team).
