Custom content management for a PBS website
In a partnership with Sonnett Media Group, Caktus built a flexible CMS for the companion web site to the Buddha PBS documentary.

Caktus worked with Sonnet Media Group to create a beautiful and intuitive website for the PBS documentary The Buddha. Using Django powered tools, the site allowed the user to interact with the life of the Buddha through an illustrative timeline, videos and interactive maps. The Buddha was written, directed, and produced by award-winning filmmaker David Grubin and aired on PBS starting in April, 2010. The site also won a Webby award in 2011 in the Religion and Spirituality category.
