Hao loves finding new ways to help Caktus share the positive impact they’re having on public health and client workflows. She especially likes helping the team translate technical topics into stories about their work.
Prior to becoming Caktus’ Strategy Director, Hao was the Marketing Manager at a data analytics firm that served Fortune 500 clients. Before that, she worked as an analyst for Abt Associates on national healthcare studies and federal technology projects. She helped make complex information accessible to the public. She also served as a nonprofit fellow and research analyst for McKinsey and Company where she specialized in healthcare. Hao received her BA in English from Wellesley College and an MFA in Creative Writing from UNC-Greensboro.
In her free time, she serves as a fiction editor for the Raleigh Review, a local literary magazine.
